Video Production

North East England & Yorkshire

Short Films shot in Yorkshire and the North East of England

Remnants (Of A Disaster)

Made for the 2 Days Later short film competition 2011.

I wrote, shot (with a Canon 550D DSLR and a single forty year old 55mm Super Takumar lens) and edited the entire film in forty six hours in Harrogate with no budget.  Big thanks to the actors Indra J. Adler, Waleed Khalid (who also did sound) and David Davies (who did his bit in an hour and a half after shooting on another film for ten hours).

LATE (Virgin Media Shorts 2011 entry)

LATE is a quirky comedy drama shot in Salford, I did the editing and post production.

Dig Deeper (Virgin Media Shorts 2011 entry)

Dig Deeper is a dark gritty thriller shot near Leeds and Bradford, I co-produced, shot, edited and graded it.

Rat Race (SCI-FI London 48 Hour Challenge 2011)

Rat Race was made for the SCI-FI London 48-hour-film-challenge 2011. The whole film was produced between 12:00 on Saturday and 11:30 on Monday morning on and was shot on wasteland in Bradford, near Leeds in West Yorkshire.  I was co-producer, camera, editor and post production.

This project is an excellent example of the high quality video I can produce in a very limited period of time.

Time At The Bar (Short/Drama)

2010 Virgin Media Shorts competition entry, edited/directed by me, shot by Garry Torrance.

FirstPersonShooter (Short/Sci-Fi)

FirstPersonShooter was shot on MiniDV (Canon XM2) in five hours for the 2009 2DaysLater film competition. It was my first attempt at a proper film, by proper I mean scripted, with a crew, actors, props and a budget (£37).

However, the cameraman/director of photography and an actor dropped out, so I had to fill in for both. My girlfriend who had never used a camera before valiantly filled in for two hours before leaving to do real work.
